The brightest and best in British business were celebrated at the event, launched by TiE President Nina Amin, now expanded to include seven hotly contested categories. Historic Japanese Kimonos were showcased in a fashion show curated by the head of the Yamano beauty and fashion business and included the famous wedding kimono consisting of 12 layers each of which was a complete wedding outfit. Jane Aiko Yamano is recognised as being at the forefront of modernising the traditional Kimono in Japan.
